Introduction
Buying and selling brands on RioBrand
Using RioBrand's repository of brands, brand owners
can upload brands that are available for sale, and anyone interested
in purchasing a brand can see a list of available brands with full-colour
brand images and details of the brand’s current owners, coverage
and use.
Brands are made available as individual brands,
or as sets of brands that contain a number of closely linked brands,
brands registered in multiple countries, or brands registered for
multiple classifications of goods and services.

Fully searchable database
Our website enables any visitor to freely search
for brands for sale using a wide variety of criteria: by owner and
brand name; by colours, shapes and symbols; and by Nice classification,
Vienna classification, country and business activity. Click
here and select Brands for Sale from the drop down menu
to search the RioBrand repository.

How to sell a brand
To make your brand available for sale on RioBrand

Putting your brand on RioBrand is an easy process
and allows you to add pictures to your brand information quickly
and easily from the Submit a brand option.
Once you have uploaded your brand to the RioBrand
repository you can change your sale profile at any time from the
Manage brands option on the home page. You can also use your own
website to promote brands for sale, linking potential buyers to
your entry in the RioBrand repository.
If you wish to remove your brand from the Brands
for sale area you can alter its available for sale status to no,
or remove it entirely from the repository, using the Manage brands
option.
How to buy a brand
Viewing brands for sale on RioBrand is free. Simply
select the Brands for sale option on the home page or click
here to see details of all available brands in the RioBrand
Repository.
To find out more about a particular brand, select
the for sale option on the brand you are interested in. This will
open a brand profile window containing detailed information,
including the countries it is registered for and its international
classifications.
To find out information about pricing and possible
discounts for bulk purchases select the Enquire option in the brand
profile window. This will generate launch your e-mail software and
enable you to request details for the brand or brands that you are
interested in.
You can also use the e-mail to request brand history,
financial data and any other business related questions you might
have.
If you wish to make an offer for a brand, or set
of brands, use the Enquire button again and send details of the
brand(s) you wish to purchase, your offer price and
your contact information, including your telephone number
and address. You and the brand owner will receive confirmation from
RioBrand that the offer has been received.
When making an offer to buy
a brand, the following conditions will apply:
- Items on offer might be single Trademarks or
sets that contain closely linked Marks and for all actual filed
or registered combinations of countries and classifications of
goods and services.
- All offers should be communicated directly to
the Seller or to RioBrand at the following e-mail address:info@riobrand.com
- Upon receipt of the offer the Seller or RioBrand
will send an e-mail confirmation to the interested buyer.
- On acceptance of the offer the Buyer will be
asked to sign a Purchase Agreement.
- Payment in full is to be made by arrangement
with the Seller on acceptance of the purchase agreement.
Costs
- The costs of the transfer of assignment of the
marks from the Seller to the new Owner will be borne by the Buyer.
General
- The Seller does not bind itself to accepting
any particular offers received.
- By using the RioBrand services you signify that
you have read and accept the general user agreement as published
on the RioBrand website.
- RioBrand can provide access to legal resources
for re-assignment purposes should it be required.
